Sonic Trader (“Sonic Trader”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) provides a technology platform designed to support algorithmic trading operations, trading analytics, and related financial technology services.

The Platform provides tools for monitoring trading performance, strategy analysis, and risk management. Sonic Trader does not act as a broker, financial advisor, or investment manager unless explicitly stated in a separate written agreement.

By accessing or using the Platform you confirm that:

• You have read and understood these Terms.
• You agree to be legally bound by them.
• You are at least 18 years of age or the legal age required to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange, derivatives, equities, and cryptocurrencies, involves substantial risk.

You acknowledge that:

• Trading can result in significant financial losses.
• Past performance does not guarantee future results.
• Any performance statistics displayed on the Platform are informational only and may not reflect real trading results.

You should only trade with capital you can afford to lose.

The Platform does not provide investment advice, financial advice, tax advice, or legal advice.

All information provided through the Platform, including:

• performance metrics
• analytics
• statistics
• risk indicators

is provided for informational and analytical purposes only. Sonic Trader does not recommend or endorse any trading strategy or financial instrument. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions.

5. Platform Functionality

The Platform may provide tools including but not limited to:

• trading analytics
• algorithmic strategy monitoring
• account performance tracking
• reporting and risk monitoring
• integrations with third-party trading platforms or brokers

Sonic Trader does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any data displayed and will not be held responsible for any trading decisions made from such data. Data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.

6. Third-Party Integrations

The Platform may connect to or integrate with third-party services including brokers, trading platforms, exchanges, or data providers.

Sonic Trader:

• does not control these third parties
• is not responsible for their services
• does not guarantee their availability or reliability

Use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and conditions.

7. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Platform you may be required to create an account.

You agree to:

• provide accurate and complete information
• maintain the security of your login credentials
• notify Sonic Trader immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Platform for unlawful purposes
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform
• interfere with the operation or security of the Platform
• reverse engineer or attempt to copy the Platform’s technology
• use the Platform in a way that could damage Sonic Trader’s systems or reputation

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

All content, technology, software, designs, graphics, and materials available on the Platform are owned by Sonic Trader or its licensors.

This includes but is not limited to:

• platform architecture
• analytics models
• algorithms
• reports
• branding and trademarks

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

10. Platform Availability

We aim to maintain reliable access to the Platform but do not guarantee that the Platform will be:

• uninterrupted
• error-free
• secure at all times

The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, technical issues, or events beyond our control.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under South African law, Sonic Trader shall not be liable for any:

• trading losses
• lost profits
• loss of business opportunities
• loss of data
• indirect or consequential damages

arising from the use or inability to use the Platform. You acknowledge that use of the Platform is entirely at your own risk.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sonic Trader, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

• your use of the Platform
• violation of these Terms
• misuse of trading information or analytics

13. Suspension and Termination

Sonic Trader may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time if:

• you violate these Terms
• your activity poses a risk to the Platform
• required by law or regulatory authorities

Upon termination, your right to access the Platform will immediately cease.

Your use of the Platform is also governed by the Sonic Trader Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

15. Changes to These Terms

Sonic Trader may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be published on the Platform with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
